Arsen Zinchenko

Arsen Leonidovych Zinchenko is a Ukrainian historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, and scholar of Ukrainian church history. He served as a member of the Ukrainian parliament from 1990 to 1994 and chaired the Cabinet of Ministers’ Council for Religious Affairs from 1992 to 1994.

Contribution

He wrote “Liberation Through Faith: The Life and Work of Metropolitan Vasyl Lypkivskyi” (1997) and studies of the Ukrainian church movement in Podillia. His research draws on UAOC records, church council documents, and Lypkivskyi’s Soviet criminal case.
