A Dialogue-Lecture on Ethnic Groups, Nations, and Their Theories (29.03.2025)

A street dialogue-lecture by Vitaliy Dribnytsia on the theories of ethnos and nation (primordialism and constructivism), modern nation-building, and pre-modern identity. Most of the material echoes videos already processed; selected here are only the new verifiable illustrations — on the French civic nation (Bretons, Basques, the appeal to Gaul), the ratio between the number of states and of ethnic groups, and on Kyiv’s appearance in the Muscovite titulature only after Ivan III’s letter to Emperor Maximilian I Habsburg.
